In his bid to create more employment for his people and add more value to their lives, the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate in the last Ogun East senatorial election, Prince Dapo Abiodun has opened a state-of-the-art mega Hyden Petroleum station in Ikenne, his home town.
Dapo Abiodun had lost the senatorial seat narrowly to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Senator Kashamu Buruji.
It was a great day for the people of Iperu and Ode Remo as they trooped out to witness the grand opening of the ultramodern gas station.
Many residents were full of gratitude as they thanked the oil magnate for empowering them through his enterprise.
The grand opening attracted who is who in the town and beyond.
Dapo Abiodun, a B.Sc Civil Engineering and BBA Accounting graduate, is the CEO/Managing Director, Hyden Petroleum, a leading oil and gas firm in the country.
With various stations across the country, Heyden Petroleum Limited was incorporated in 30th October 2001 as an independent Oil Trading Company in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom.
The firm trading activities range from refined white products to semi-refined black products as it explores its formidable network structure to access and expand business relationships wherever profitable and feasible while promoting and sustaining professionalism.
HPL is actively involved in the trading and distribution of Automotive Gas Oil, Diesel, Fuel Oils, Bitumen, Crude and some intermediate components within and outside Nigeria.
Over the years, HPL has continued to negotiate strategic cooperation and agreement with several refineries in UAE, Europe and Russia which enables it to procure at discounted prices that allows the petroleum company to offer unbeatable selling prices in the market place.
HPL owns and operates a dedicated jetty which enables demurrage-free operations which explains its efficiency of service.
HPL Jetty and tank farm in Ijora, with a combined onshore and floating storage capacity of 54,000 metric tons but considering that its property is over 65,000 square meters has now expanded to 70,000MT for PMS, AGO and Kero and building 2 Nos Jet Fuel storage tanks of 15,000MT capacity with a separate loading gantry equipped with modern and state-of-the-art loading facilities undoubtedly enables it stock up petroleum products all year round and reduce its delivery lead times to the minimum.
According to the CEO, Dapo Abiodun, popularly called DA, HPL currently has the ability to load 5,000MT in one day.
