Olajumoke Orisaguna’s story of moving from grass to grace seems not coming to an end soon.

As a matter of fact, her fortune just got boosted as Sujimoto Construction Limited, Nigeria’s foremost Luxury Real Estate Developer has offered her a luxury accommodation and Scholarship to a Finishing School, Poise Academy Nigeria – where she will be properly equipped with the tools to survive as professional model anywhere in the world.

Speaking on why the firm decided to give the former bread seller the fully furnished home, the CEO Sujimoto Construction, Sijibomi Ogundele said Olajumoke was not lucky, rather she was prepared and when the opportunity came, she seized it.5

“Her story resonates with us at Sujimoto because it is a reminder of the numerous opportunities lurking around us and only those who dare to seize the moment and take a step will ultimately find true success.”jumoke-1Olajumoke-‘The-bread-seller’-takes-delivery-of-luxury-apartment-in-Lagos-5

According to the CEO, “Olajumoke’s grass to grace story is my story. It is the story of my mother who also came to Lagos from Ijebu in search of a better life. Young people should learn from Olajumoke’s experience that hard work is the bedrock of all success and success only happens when preparation meets opportunity. There are no sustainable shortcuts. Without hard work, luck won’t last.”Olajumoke-2

Olajumoke’s classic case described as being in the right place at the right time, it would be recalled that while busy selling her loaves of bread, with wares perched atop her head, she had photobombed a shoot by TY Bello.

Jumoke Orisaguna is a mother of two who used to walk the streets of Lagos selling bread.

Originally a hairstylist from Osun State, south west Nigeria, she was struggling to make ends meet, and left her husband and two children in their home town to become a street vendor in the economic capital.

Working from 2:30pm to 11:00pm selling bread, Jumoke was making a profit of around N300 a day.

Now she’s about to become a top model; signed to a modeling agency and gaining international fame and prominence.
