The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II is set to take a new wife who would officially take the role of an Olori (Queen).

Information reaching DailyBells Nigeria has it that the monarch’s first marriage to Adebukunola might have crashed due to irreconcilable differences.

According to a palace source, since Adebukunola manage to grace the King’s coronation few months ago, she had never assumed the role of an Olori and never moved to the Palace as she had left Ile-Ife town as soon as the ceremony was over.

DailyBells recalls that unlike how it is practiced in the Yoruba tradition where a queen, (Olori) accompanies the king to functions, Oba Ogunwusi has always been seen in the public attending functions and even visiting other traditional rulers including the President of the country,  President Mohammadu Buhari without his Olori.

Reliable information from the palace is that any time from now, the King would be tying the nuptial knot with his new heartthrob, Wuraola Otiti Zynab Obanor.

Wuraola is relocating from the diaspora to take on her role as wife and Olori to King, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

Though Wuraola is a native of Benin City, the beautiful lady has her root from Oluyare Compound, Iremo Quarters in Ile- Ife.

The New Olori is from Royal Brass Casters guide family -Ine n’ Igun as her forefather, Ezhoe is from Oluyare compound.

Their union is said to be already 95 per cent completed, just for a few other formalities to be concluded within a few weeks.
