Paul Etim was once a vibrant man with excellent health and means of livelihood. The 42-year old native of Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria is known to be a very hardworking and dedicated dry cleaner.
On 30th of June, 2016, at his Iju-Ishaga, Lagos residence, while he was set for the day’s work, electricity supply was seized by NEPA while he was ironing clothes. However, Paul in his bid not to disappoint his customers decided to make use of alternative means.
He went into the kitchen to make use of gas stove. However, the cylinder exploded leaving Paul being burnt beyond 3rd degree.
For Paul who has been at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital for about 2 months now, the critical condition has left him incapacitated and unproductive to his family and his country.
