I Will Expand Ogun NUJ Press Centre – ADC Governorship Aspirant

THE African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial aspirant, Prince Gboyega Nasir has promised to expand the Ogun State Nigerian Union of Journalist, NUJ Press Centre if he is elected as governor in 2019.

Nasir made this promise at the NUJ Centre, Iweroyin in Abeokuta, during a declaration of Yayi and Lado loyalties decamping to ADC.

“I really appreciate our pressmen who have been so supportive with all the reports, I therefore promise to contribute to the development of the centre when I become the governor in 2019,” he said.

He also expressed his condolence to those who were affected in the flood to sack some parts of Ogun State recently.

He urged the present administration to look into it as soon as possible to avoid re-occurrence as the raining seasons were here..

Prince Shoye Oyenuga, a former Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria, UPN, who led the decmpees to ADC, said “The ADC has become more attractive to us because a man widely known as the symbol of humility, a man of unquestionable character with enviable records of performance in both private and public sectors, Nasir has chosen the party as his platform to contest the 2019 election in Ogun State.”

One of the leaders in the Senator Olamilekan Solomon (Yayi movement), who was among the decampees, Hon Salako said ADC is a moving train, and that loyalists should bring more people to the party to ensure they all voted Nasir into office as the next governor of Ogun.

The former Chairman of Ogun People’s Democratic Party, Chief Joju Fadairo urged the decamped members not to fight themselves over power but instead fight for how to collect power from selfish government.

Fadairo also urged members to make sure they all had their PVCs and also render assistance to others who did not have their PVCs to get theirs in order to vote for Nasir as governor in 2019 election.
