World Economic Development Agency Ltd, WEDAL, the organisers of Embassies and Consular Missions Conference scheduled to hold on Thursday March 30th 2017 at Abeokuta, Ogun State has been postponed.
The two-day conference with the theme ‘Enhancing the Relationship between Foreign Missions and Nigeria’, is a gathering of all Ambassadors in Nigeria, Foreign Missions, Consular, Diplomatic Staffs, Government Agencies and captains of industry.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was slated to host the event while other dignitaries expected at the conference includes the Professor Pat Utomi, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi amongst others.
Media Officer of the conference, Henry Ojelu said that the event will now hold at a later date which will be communicated to all participants.
“We wish to inform the general public, all speakers, invitees and guest to the Embassies and Consular Missions Conference (ECMC) scheduled for March 30th and 31st 2017 to be held in Abeokuta, Ogun State has been postponed.
“A new date for the event will be communicated to all participants. All inconveniences are highly regretted,” he said.
