Derby: Classy City Shock United at Old Trafford, Open 11-Point Gap

Manchester City tamed Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, winning 2-1 as it opened 11-point gap at the top of the Premier League.

David Silver opened scoring for City on 43 minutes to make it 1-0 in the local derby.

Kevin de Bruyne’s corner is flicked on by either Nicolas Otamendi or Romelu Lukaku, it drops for David Silva onside and he hooks in another acrobatic volley.

United responded quickly in first half added time in the 47 minute when Marcus Rashford equalised.

A terrible mistake led to the goal. The defender ends up losing possession, allowing Marcus Rashford to pick up the ball before slotting it into the back of the net to make it 1-1.
