Madam Janet Morenike Osunnuyi, nee Awotubo, the mother of The DailyBells Nigeria’s Publisher, Mr. Adejuwon Osunnuyi would be buried on Friday July 28 at Ipara Remo, Ogun State.
Late Madam Osunnuyi died on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Lagos at the age of 74.
Until her death, she was a devoted Christian, a staunch member of the Celestial Church of Christ, a business woman and a loving mother.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, the service of songs is expected to hold on Thursday, July 27 by 5.pm at 1, Lisa Street, Lisa Compound, Ejina, Ipara Remo, Remo North Local Government, Ogun State.
On Friday, July 28, between 8 and 9 a.m, her remains would be laid in state while funeral service takes place at the same venue by 11 a.m.
Immediately after the service, late madam Janet Morenike Osunnuyi would be laid to rest at the town’s new cemetery. Entertainment of guests follows immediately.
The DailyBells Nigeria Online newspaper publisher expressed sadness over the loss of her mother.
He said, “My regret is that I couldn’t reward her enough before she died.
“She was my friend and confidant. She was more than a mother to me. I would really miss her.’’
Late madam Janet Morenike Osunnuyi was survived by children and grandchildren among whom are Adedeji Osunnuyi, Leke Osunnuyi, Ademuyiwa Osuunuyi, Adejuwon Osunnuyi, Akin Elegbewa and Sarah Adeyeye.
